NOW WITH VIDEO: Wildfires Burning Off Hwy 36 East of Red Bluff; Evacuations in Progress

UPDATE: 4:08 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 - CAL FIRE says there are now two fires in the Sun Incident. One is 250 acres and the other is 150 acres. Highway 36 has one way traffic controls, so please avoid the highway if possible.  Evacations orders still in place for Stice Road and Andreini Road. An evacuation warning has been ordered for the Hogsback Road area.

UPDATE 3:25 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 - According to CAL FIRE, the Sun Incident has burned 400 acres.

UPDATE 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 - Action News Now reporter Spencer Joseph says structure protection is being conducted on Tuscan Springs Road.

UPDATE 2:03 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 - According to officials at CAL FIRE, there are three fires burning. The largest is 50 acres. One of the others is 30 acres in size.

The fires started at Highway 36 and Sunriver Road. It is being called the Sun Incident.

There are evacuations in progress for Stice Road and Andreni Road. Evacuation warnings are in place for the Hogsback Road area.

The fire is heading in the direction of Antelope Creek and Hogsback Road.

TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. - A grass fire was reported to the California Highway Patrol that can be seen from several miles away. The incident has been transferred to CAL FIRE. Tehama County Sheriff's Office has personnel on the scene.

The incident was reported at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018.
