Preliminary reports show that lightning caused a large house fire in Burleson Friday night.
The fire started around 7:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Country Vista Circle in Burleson.
Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting from the roof.
So far there's no word on any injuries.
A second house fire in Mansfield also appears to have been started by lightning.
Crews from Mansfield and Midlothian fire departments both responded to the fire in the 1300 block of Montaigne Road.
Investigators say they are still working to determine an exact cause. No one was hurt in the fire.
