Five months after Sonoma Valley’s wildfires, the Kenwood Inn & Spa is back in business.
Smoke damage from the Wine Country’s wildfires of late 2017 led to the closing of the Mediterranean-style resort, which was built in 1989. The property, run by Four Sisters Inns, underwent a cleanup and renovations, its managers said.
All 29 guestrooms were refreshed, and the lobby, cabanas and public areas were updated. Some renovations are still in progress: The spa will be completed this summer, and a lounge is being added to the private events space.
To mark the inn’s reopening, Kenwood is offering a “Passport to Spring” package that includes 20 percent off regular room rates, a $50 per person spa credit, a bottle of wine and a Sonoma Passport for two with local deals and offers.
Rates start at $311. The promotion is available from April 1 through June 28. Reservations: www.kenwoodinn.com, 800-353-6966.
The resort is located at 10400 Sonoma Highway in Kenwood.
