RICE COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) Fire crews from several departments are fighting three wildfires in Rice County.
The National Weather Service says the fire is about 8-10 miles southeast of Lyons.
Rice County Emergency Communications is asking people to stay away from the areas of Ave Q between 31st Rd & 22nd Rd all the way south to Ave V between 31st Rd & 22nd Rd.
Gov. Jeff Colyer says had made an emergency declaration for the three fires. He said the Kansas National Guard would be deploying Black Hawks to aid in the response.
Storm Team 12 say the fire is visible from satellite.
